(a) to (d): Yes, Madam. Coast Guard stations at a particular place are set up after taking into account the threat perception, vulnerability gap analysis and presence of other stations / coastal marine police stations in the vicinity under hub and spoke concept. Six additional stations have been sanctioned at Pipavav (Gujarat), Nizampatnam (Andhra Pradesh), Gopalpur (Odisha), Frazerganj (West Bengal), Mayabunder & Kamorta (both in A&N Islands). Modernisation of the stations is an ongoing process which includes provision of interceptor boats etc.
