(a) and (b): Yes Madam. In the year 2014, the Government has up-scaled the target of renewable energy capacity to 175 GW by the year 2022 which includes 100 GW from solar, 60 GW from wind, 10 GW from bio-power and 5 GW from small hydro-power.
(c) and (d): Generic tariff for various renewables as declared by Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC) from the year 2013-2014 onwards are given in the Annexure. Tariff of various renewable energy sources are fixed either by the State Electricity Regulatory Commissions (SERCs) or through competitive bidding. Tariff from Wind, Solar and Small Hydro Power have not changed significantly. However, the tariff of solar PV power have reduced significantly due to the economy of scales, technological advancements and reduction in price of PV cells.
