(a) to (b): The Government of India has decided to review the Model Text of BIPAs in view of
the various dispute/arbitration notices received. The review of BIPAs is being conducted as
per the best available practices. The institutional mechanism for the same is the Standing
Committee of Secretaries (SCoS) and a Working Group constituted thereunder.
