Question : Royalty on Crude Oil

(a) whether the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited makes payment of royalty on post-discount prices to the States;
(b) if so, the details thereof and the reasons therefor; and
(c) whether the royalty being given to the States is based on pre-discounted prices of crude oil and if so, the details thereof?

(a) to (c): At present there is no discount on sale of crude oil by Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) and royalty is being paid to States on the basis of price realized by ONGC.
