(a) whether the Government/NHA is considering to construct an additional bridge across
the river Narmada at Zadeshwer on NH-8 between Vadodara and Bharuch;
(b) if so, the details and present status thereof;
(c) the time by which it is likely to be completed; and
(d) if not, the reasons therefor?

(b) The Detailed Project Report (DPR) is in progress. Scheduled date of completion of DPR is
May, 2011.
(c) & (d) After completion of DPR study, the process of award for construction will be
initiated.
