(a) the value of exports and the name of countries to whom exports were made in
the field of Information Technology during last two years and in the year 2001-02
so far;
(b) the position of India in the world in production and export in the field of
Information Technology; and
(c) the expected growth of production and export in terms of percentage and
rupees during Tenth Five Year Plan?

(a): Export of computer software and related services during the years 1999-2000,
to 2001-2002 (till September 2001) and the destinations is enclosed in the Annexure-I.
(b): Share of India`s production of computer software and related services in
the World`s production of computer software and services is estimated to be 1.30% and
India`s total trade in the above sector is estimated to be 2% of the total world trade.
