(a) the steps taken by the Government in coordination with the State Government of Gujarat to construct an overbridge at Aya railway level crossing near Swami Narayan temple at Dhoraji-Junagarh road in the Parliamentary Constituency of Porbandar as the people are facing problems due to heavy traffic at this crossing; and
(b) the steps taken to provide stoppage to train number 59297/59298 and 59212/59211 at Rana Bordi in district Porbandar?

(a) There is Level Crossing No. 67 at Km 143/7-8 near Dhoraji on Jetalsar-Dhoraji section. This Level Crossing (LC) does not qualify for construction of ROB on cost sharing basis as traffic density is less than one Lakh. However, ROB at this location can be constructed on deposit terms provided State Government agrees to bear complete cost of construction and maintenance subject to its feasibility.
(b) At present, 59211/59212 Rajkot-Porbandar passenger has scheduled stoppage at Rana Bordi. However, stoppage of 59297/ 59298 Porbandar-Somnath passenger train at Rana Bordi is operationally not feasible, at present.
