(b) if so, the details thereof, State/UT-wise; and
(c) the steps being taken to promote and encourage small solar power projects under the scheme in rural areas where there is need?

(a)&(b)The details of schemes under implementation under National Solar Mission (NSM) are given in Annexure-I. As on 31.10.2021, Grid Connected Solar Power Capacity of 46.25 GW has been installed in the Country. The State-wise details of cumulative solar power capacity installed in the country, as on 31.10.2021, are given in Annexure-II.
(c)The details of steps taken for promotion of solar energy in the country, including small solar power projects in rural areas are given in Annexure-III.
