(a) whether the Government is aware of the grave situation in various Union Government
Departments on account of Bogus Caste Certificate cases;
(b) if so, the details thereof; and
(c) if so, the action taken by the Government to see that those availing illegal benefit of reservation are punished by respective Ministries?

(a) & (b) : Some cases of appointments allegedly made on the basis of fake caste certificates
under the Ministry of Labour, the Ministry of Railways, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry
of Home Affairs, the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Urban Development, the Ministry
of Health and Family Welfare, the Ministry of Commerce etc. came to the notice of the Central
Bureau of Investigation.
(c) : If it is established that a candidate secured employment on the basis of a fake
certificate, he is removed from service.
