Question : Heritage Railway Stations in Rajasthan

(a) whether the Railways has decided to give heritage look to railway stations in the country;
(b) if so, the details of the selected stations for heritage look;
(c) the details of the selected railway stations in Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh along with the details of works to be carried out there; and
(d) the amount allocated to Chittorgarh station for this purpose along with the details of the work and the present status thereof?

(a) At present, there is no policy of Ministry of Railways, to give heritage look to stations in the country. However, local Railway Administration may sometimes incorporate local ethnic and architectural elements in the station building.
