(a) the number of exchanges of C-DOT produced thus far;
(b) whether C-DOT also proposes to produce bigger capacity exchanges for BSNL;
(c) if so, the details thereof;
(d) whether there is a demand for such exchanges from C-DOT; and
(e) if so, the details thereof?

(a) The number of exchanges of C-DOT technology produced so far by C-DOT manufacturers are over 44,800.
(b) & (c): Yes, Sir. C-DOT manufacturers have already produced bigger capacity exchanges i.e. upto 40, 000 lines.
(d) & (e): The demand for such exchanges from C-DOT has been varying in the light of various technological developments, such as introduction of WLL and Mobile Network systems.
