(a) the progress made by the Government in the construction of Tumkur-Honnavara section and widening to two lanes with paved shoulders of NH-13, widening to two lanes with paved shoulders of Mudigere-Kadur section of NH-173 and construction of tunnel for Shiradi Ghat;
(b) the time by which the construction work would be initiated by the Government; and
(c) the timeline for the completion of construction work of these NH projects?

(a) to (c) The works of four laning between Tumkur to Shimoga of NH-206 has been tendered and scheduled for completion in 24 months from the declaration of appointed date. The work of four laning from Km. 205.200 to Km. 220.00 between Shimoga to Honnavara Section of NH-206 is in progress and scheduled for completion by February, 2019.
The works of four laning from Km. 102/00 to 299/00 of NH-13 have already been completed. From Km. 30.400 to Km. 102.00 work has been awarded and from Km. 299.00 to Km. 418.600 work is in progress & scheduled for completion by March, 2019. Further, the works of widening to two lanes with paved shoulders from Km. 422.00 to Km. 528.00 and Km. 683.00 to Km. 706.00 in Chitradurga-Mangalore section of NH-13 in the State of Karnataka are scheduled for completion by March, 2019. The remaining works of two lane with paved shoulders in Chitradurga- Mangalore section will be taken up depending upon inter-se-priority, availability of funds and clearance from forest/wild life sanctuary.
The work of improvement and reconstruction to two lanes with paved shoulders of Mudigere-Kadur section from Km. 24.600 to Km. 70.063 of NH-173 have been awarded and scheduled for completion in 24 months from the declaration of appointed date.
The final DPR for work of construction of tunnel for Shiradi Ghat has been submitted by the consultant.
