Question : Non-Scheduled Operators Permit

a) whether the Government proposes to allow Non-scheduled Operators Permit (NSOP) holders or charter operators to operate in non-metros with the aim to bring flying within the reach of the common man;

b) if so, the details thereof along with the guidelines issued in this regard;

c) whether the Government is in the process of finalizing new aviation policy; and

d) if so, the time by which a final policy is likely to be finalised?

a & b) As per the provisions of draft policy, Non-scheduled Operators Permit holders and charter operators will have to obtain air operators permit under the Regional Connectivity Scheme.

c) Yes.

d) The feedback received from all stakeholders is being examined and all efforts are being made to finalise the Policy without any delay.
