(a) the share capital provided to the spinning mills by the Union Government;
(b) the agency entrusted with the work of monitoring the utilisation of share money;
(c) whether any fraud has come to notice;
(d) if so, the details thereof, mill-wise; and
(e) the reaction of the Government thereto?

(a): Department of Agriculture & Cooperation has released Rs.4868.48 lakhs to 25 Cooperative Spinning Mills in the country upto 31.3.2000 under Centrally Sponsored Scheme for assistance to Growers Cooperative Spinning Mills implemented through National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC).
(b): NCDC has its own mechanism for monitoring the implementation of the programme by way of field visits, periodic reports and review meetings etc.
