Question : FACILITIES AT PROTECTED MONUMENTS



(a) the names of monuments in Kyonjhar district of Odisha;

(b) the details of facilities provided by the Government for the benefit of tourists to reach at said monuments; and

(c) the details of fund distributed and utilized on said monuments during the last three years and the current year, State/UT-wise?

(a)&(b) The paintings on the rock locally known as Ravanchaya and other ancient monuments and remains at Sitabhanji in the District Keonjhar of Odisha have been declared as monuments of national importance and are under the protection of Archaeological Survey of India. The monuments are in good state of preservation and situated within the reserve forest area. The Government of Odisha has provided a good motorabe road upto the monument for the benefit of tourists to reach monuments.

(c) The funds allocated and expenditure incurred on said monuments during the last three years and the current year are as under:
