Question : GREENING OF HIMALAYAS PROJECT

(a) the achievements made in regard to the Greening of Himalayas Project launched by the Government two years back;

(b) whether the Government propose to launch more such projects in other areas of the country and if so, the details thereof;

(c) the manner in which the Non-Governmental Organisations are being involved in such projects; and;

(d) the number of instalments of funds released so far for this project alongwith the total allocation made available for the purpose?
