(a) the places where integrated child development projects are being implemented in Maharashtra presently;
(b) whether desired target in this regard has been achieved;
(c) if not, the reasons therefor;
(d) whether the Government propose to extend the programme to all the blocks of the State;
(e) if so, the details thereof; and
(f) the time by which it is likely to be implemented?

(a) Integrated Child Development Services(ICDS) is being
implemented in 268 blocks and urban slums in the State of
Maharashtra.
(b) Yes, Sir.
(c) Does not arise.
(d) Yes, Sir.
(e) In addition to 268, under World Bank Assisted ICDS-III
54 ICDS Projects during 1999-2000 and 36 during 2000-2001
were sanctioned. Sanction for 9 additional Projects is
under process.
