Answer given by the minister

MINISTER OF THE STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF RURAL DEVELOPMENT (SHRI CHANDRA SEKHAR SAHU)

(a)to(e): No Sir. The Department of Land Resources implements three area development programmes namely Integrated Wastelands Development Programme (IWDP), Drought Prone Areas Programme (DPAP) and Desert Development Programme (DDP) on watershed basis. These are demand driven programmes and the funds are released in installments on the basis of complete proposals submitted by the States in respect of projects sanctioned. So far Rs.79.30 crores have been released to the State Government of Rajasthan for implementation of these programmes during the current financial year. No complaint of misuse of crores of rupees under these programmes have been received by the Government.
