Question : MOTOR ACCIDENT CLAIM CASES

(a) whether a large number of motor accident claim cases are pending in all high courts;

(b) if so, the details of settled and unsettled claim cases thereof, State-wise;

(c) whether the Government is contemplating to set up designated courts for speedy trial of such cases and if so, the details thereof;

(d) whether the Government proposes to appoint more judges in existing courts for early disposal of such cases; and

(e) if so, the details thereof; and if not, the reasons therefor?
