(a) whether there has been reduction in the number of recruits
to the armed forces from Punjab;
(b) if so, the reasons therefor;
(c) whether the Government has any mechanism to relax the
medical fitness requirements for recruitment;
(d) if not, whether the Government proposes to consider the
medically unfit candidates for non-combat duties; and
(e) if so, the details thereof?
