Question : RECONSIDERATION OF THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF TECHNICAL COMMITTEE



(a) whether the Government feel the need to re-consider the recommendations of technical committee which was set up to explore the possibilities of allowing the owners of DDA flats in Delhi to make changes in the basic structure of the flats;

(b) if so, the time by which the Government would reconsider this issue and take necessary decision in this regard; and

(c) if not, the reasons therefor?

(a)to(c): In pursuance of the judgement of Hon`ble High Court of Delhi, Dated 27.9.2002 in Civil Writ Petition No.3482/2001 filed by the Federation of Residents Welfare Association, Sarita Vihar, New Delhi, a committee has been constituted on 25.11.2002 to examine the recommendations of the Technical Experts Committee and to suggest the feasibility of more covered area in DDA flats. Further action would be considered on receipt of recommendations of the Committee.
