(a) whether there is any scheme to connect the areas along the Indo-Bangladesh border with roads and national highways in the North-Eastern region;

(a) to (c): No, Madam. However, Ministry of Road Transport & Highways has undertaken seven road projects in the States of Assam, Meghalaya, Mizoram and Tripura connecting Bangladesh Border with different parts of these States. Similarly, Border Road Organisation has undertaken 14 road projects in the State of Mizoram connecting Bangladesh Border with different parts of the State.
