Answer given by the minister

MINISTER OF SMALL SCALE INDUSTRIES & AGRO AND RURAL INDUSTRIES ( SHRI MAHABIR PRASAD )

(a): No, Sir.

(b): Does not arise.

(c): Introduction of entrepreneurial education in colleges and universities can train and motivate students to adopt entrepreneurship as a career option. This, in turn, can encourage the educated new entrants to the job market to avail of the benefits of the self-employment schemes of the Government and thus generate more such employment in States like Assam. Pending the introduction of such courses in colleges and universities and as part of the on-going activities in this regard, Small Industries Service Institute (SISI), Tejpur organized an Intensive Motivation Campaign at the Commerce College, North Lakhimpur, Assam to apprise the youth of such self-employment opportunities. In addition, financial assistance has been provided to the Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship, Guwahati under the National Entrepreneurship Development Board Scheme to organize a national seminar on entrepreneurship education.
