(a) to (b) Yes, Sir. Govt. of West Bengal had sent a proposal for restoration of âJorsankha
Thakurbariâ in Kolkata at an estimated cost of Rs. 14.03 crores as a part of 150th Birth
Anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore. The proposal was considered by the National Implementation
Committee (NIC), under the Chairmanship of Union Finance Minister on 14th July, 2010. As per
the decision taken, Archaeological Survey of India has been entrusted the work in consultation
with INTACH/ NBCC/CPWD//Conservation Experts.
(c) Does not arise.
