(a) whether the compensation to the martyrs including IPS officers of the Mumbai terrorist attack in 2008 has been given to their family members;
(b) if so, the details thereof and if not, the reasons therefor; and
(c) the time by which such compensation is likely to be awarded to their family members?

(a) to (c): Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India had provided an amount of Rs. 2.40 Crore to 80 victims/next kin of the victims as compen- sation to the families of civilian victims in Mumbai terrorist attack in 26.11.2008 under the Central Scheme for Assistance to civilian victims of terrorist/communal/naxal violence. However, Government of Maharashtra has been requested to provide the information regarding the compensa- tion to the martyrs including IPS officers of the Mumbai terrorist attack in 2008 and the complete information is yet to be received.
