(a) whether the panel for Grade-I Officers of the Central Secretariat Service for the year 1989 and 1990 have been approved by the Union Public Service Commission to the Government;
(b) if so, the action taken/proposed to be taken by the Government to issue the orders to enable the Officers to get their belated promotions; and
(c) the time by which all the remaining select lists from 1991 to 2000 are likely to be finalised?

(a)&(b): The panels for 1989 and 1990 in respect of Grade-I (Under Secretaries) of Central Secretariat Service (CSS), as finalised in consultation with the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), have been notified.
(c): Considering the enormity of the task and complexity of the problem, it is not possible to indicate specific time-schedule for finalisation of the subsequent panels.
