Question : Online Medical Test Report Facility

Will the Minister of HEALTH AND FAMILY WELFARE be pleased to state:

(a) whether the Government has allocated funds for implementation of online medical test report facility for patients in Central Government Hospitals across the country, if so, the details thereof during the last three years, State/UT-wise including Tamil Nadu;

(b) the number of States proposed to be covered for the implementation of the online medical test report facility;

(c) the total amount released by the Union Government to the State of Tamil Nadu to implement the online medical test report facility during last three years; and

(d) the total number of patients benefited under this scheme, State/UT-wise including Tamil Nadu?

(a) to (d): Grants in Aid are released to States/Union Territories (UTs) under National Health Mission (NHM) on a lump sum basis under various Flexible Pools and not component/activity wise. Further, Health being a State subject, such information is not centrally maintained.

In so far as Central Government Hospitals in Delhi viz. Safdarjung, Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia and Lady Hardinge Medical and Associated Hospitals are concerned, no separate funds are allocated for implementation of online medical test report facility for patients. As far as Dr. RML Hospital is concerned, online medical test report facility has been started since 27.02.2017.

As far as All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) is concerned, online access of many lab reports are available to patients.

As far as Dr. RML Hospital is concerned, the total number of patients provided online medical test report facility during last two year and current year is as under:-
