Question : PENDING CASES OF LAND ACQUISITION

(a) the number of cases related to land acquisition pending in the courts at present, State-wise;

(b) the number of cases that are more than ten years old;

(c) whether ambiguity in land acquisition rules are the reason for the pendency of the said cases;

(d) if so. the details thereof and the reaction of the Government thereto; and

(e) the remedial steps taken / proposed to be taken by the Government in this regard?
