(a) whether the Government propose to construct a Road over bridge at Trivandrum-
Pettah Railway Level Cross between Kochnveli-Trivandrum, in Trivandrum
Division;
(b) if so, the details and the present status thereof; and
(c) the time by which the said ROB is likely to be constructed ?

(a): The Level Crossing No.578 at Km. 217/4-5 between Kochuveli and Trivandrum
Central stations although qualifies for replacement by Road over/under bridge on cost
sharing basis and the State Govt. has shown willingness to take up the work, but the
firm proposal duly fulfilling all the preliminary pre-requisites has not yet been
received as required under extant rules.
