cleaning/repair of drains, repair/construction of river training works
etc. Monsoon patrolling is done in identified and vulnerable sections and stationary watchmen are
deployed at vulnerable locations. Further, liaisoning is done with the concerned State Government
Authorities and cleaning/repair of culverts/drains etc. outside railwayâs jurisdiction (but affecting
railway property) are also carried out by the concerned State Government authorities.
