(a) and (b) Sevoke-Rangpo section of NH-10 was damaged due to heavy monsoon during last year and aggravated by Railway tunnelling work & severe drawdown effect in reservoirs of Teesta Low Dam Projects (TLDP) over river Teesta. All such damages have been repaired and the road has been made traffic worthy. In addition, two works amounting to Rs. 11.58 crore for repair/restoration of Sevoke-Rangpo section of NH-10 have been sanctioned during current financial year. Additionally, preparation of DPR for permanent stabilization of 20 vulnerable locations in this stretch of NH-10 has been undertaken.
