Question : Medical Supervisors in ESI Hospitals

(a)whether the Government has received any proposal from the Madhya Pradesh Government to set up ESIC model hospital and if so, the details and the status thereof;
(b)whether the Government has received any complaint of irregularities against the medical Supervisor, ESIC model hospital, Indore in Madhya Pradesh;
(c)if so, the details thereof along with the time by which the action is likely to be taken in this regard;
(d)the total number of medical supervisors in charge working in the ESIC hospitals in the country including those who are working on temporary basis;
(e)whether the Government proposes to remove those in-charge medical supervisors who are working on temporary basis and make this post permanent and if so, the time by which the action is likely to be taken in this regard; and
(f)if not, whether the said in-charge medical superintendents are likely to be removed in future and if so, the details thereof?

(a): No such proposal has been received from Madhya Pradesh Government.

(b) & (c): A complaint had been received against Dr. Pratima Dave, the then Medical Superintendent of Model Hospital, Indore. She has now been transferred from ESIC Hospital, Indore.

(d) to (f): No such post of Medical Supervisor exists. However, there is one post of Medical Superintendent in each Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) Hospital in the country.
