(a) whether the Government has received reports / complaints / representations regarding encroachment of property/land of Khadi Gramodyog in various parts of the country including Bihar;
(b) if so, the details thereof and the reasons therefor, State-wise and locationwise;
(c) the action taken/proposed to be taken by the Government in this regard and the outcome thereof in each case; and
(d) the way in which the Government proposes to make use of these properties?

(a)&(b): Two acres of land allocated for Khadi Gramodyog Bhavan, New Delhi under Khadi & Village Industries Commission (KVIC), by Delhi Development Authority(DDA) in Plot No. S-7 in Okhla Industrial Area, New Delhi has been encroached upon by unauthorized dwellers of jhuggis. No other complaints about encroachment of KVIC land has been received from any other part of the country.
(c)&(d): Action has been initiated by KVIC under the provisions of Public Premises(Eviction of unauthorized Occupants) Act, 1971 for eviction of the jhuggi dwellers from the land occupied unauthorizedly by them . After freeing the land from encroachment, the land will be utilized for the development of Khadi and Village Industries activities.
