(b) the market share of its products;
(c) whether the industry is incurring loss;
(d) if so, the details thereof; and
(e) the steps proposed to be taken by the Government to prevent its losses?

(a): the net worth of IDPL as on 31.12.2000 was Rs.(-) 1343 crores.
(b): the approx. market share of IDPL in the pharma market is 0.15%.
(c), (d) & (e): IDPL is a sick company referred to the Board for Industrial and
Financial Reconstruction (BIFR). The future of the company, including revival,
would be determined by the proceedings and the final decision of the BIFR.
