(a) whether the Government have now formed up a policy to implement the concept of Smaller States with special reference to the creation of Bodoland Territory for over all growth and development in all the spheres of the territory;

(b): Doesn`t arise.
(c): The Government of India consider only those cases for the creation of new States which are backed by resolutions of the respective State Legislatures. Government of India is also committed to ensuring the territorial integrity of the existing North Eastern States.
