(a) The details of funds allocated for infrastructural development under National AYUSH Mission (NAM) in the country, State/UT-wise including Telangana is at Annexure -I.
(b) Under NAM, Grant-in –aid has been provided to State /UT including Telangana as per the proposals reflected in the State Annual Action Plans (SAAPs). However, State of Telangana has not proposed for establishment of new educational institutions for AYUSH system of medicine/treatment through State Annual Action Plan (SAAP) under NAM.
(c) The details of funds allocated/granted/released under Centrally Sponsored Scheme of NAM, State/UT-wise including Telangana during the last five years is at Annexure –II.
(d) Under NAM, State Government of Telangana has submitted State Annual Action Plan (SAAP) for the current financial year 2021-22 and an amount of Rs.6157.84 lakhs has been approved as per NAM guideline subject to compliance of Department of Expenditure guideline i.e. (i) comply with the procedure of implementation of PFMS, and (ii) submission of Utilization Certificate & Expenditure upto 75% against the previous year’s released grant- in aid. Since, these conditionalities have not been fulfilled by the State Government of Telangana, Grant-in –aid has not been released for NAM activities. However, as per relaxation given by the Dept. of Expenditure, Centre Share of Rs.3132.252 lakhs has been released for 421 new Ayush Health and Wellness Centres (HWCs).
