(a) the number of registered and unregistered cooperative societies functioning properly in Madhya Pradesh at present;
(b) whether any innovative scheme for the cooperative societies is under the consideration of the Government at present and if so, the details thereof; and
(c) whether any special scheme is proposed for the cooperative societies in the aspirational districts and if so, the details thereof?

(a) Number of Cooperative societies registered in Madhya Pradesh as per Statistical Profile - 2018, published by NCUI is 47415. No database is maintained for unregistered Co-operative societies. Further, the societies functioning within a State are governed by their respective State Acts, Rules and their Bye-Laws. Details regarding their proper functioning falls within the domain of respective State Government.
(b) Yes, Sir Ministry of Cooperation is taking steps to formulate scheme on Computerization of PACS, Umbrella scheme on Sahakar se Samriddhi and Cooperative Education and Training for strengthening of Cooperative Sector.
(c) No such special scheme is proposed at this stage.
