(a) to (c) The Government have on numerous occasions conveyed to Pakistan that it must put an end to cross border infiltration and dismantle the infrastructure of support to terrorism in Pakistan. In the Joint Press Statement issued on January 6, 2004 in Islamabad, President General Pervez Musharraf of Pakistan reassured Prime Minister Vajpayee that he will not permit any territory under Pakistan`s control to be used to support terrorism in any manner.
