Question : 1st AC Bogie in Lichchhavi Express

(a) whether it is a fact that the lakhs of passengers as well as the Hon''ble Members of Parliament hailing from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar are facing acute problems while travelling in Train No. 4006 (Lichchhavi Express) for the reason that there is no 1st AC Bogie in the said train;

(b) if so, the steps being taken by the Government to provide 1st AC Bogie in this train; and

(c) the time by which the demand of such a facility is likely to be met?

(a) to (c): 14005/14006 Sitamarhi-Anand Vihar (T) Lichchavi Express is presently running with maximum permissible load of 23 coaches including one AC-II tier and two AC-III tier coaches for upper class passengers. Attachment of additional coach in this train is operationally not feasible at present.
