(a) the total loss suffered by the Departments under the Law Ministry due to recent earthquake in Gujarat; and

(a)&(b) No loss has been suffered by any of the Departments under the Ministry of Law, Justice & Company Affairs. The question of sending any relief to such departments, therefore, does not arise. However, a sum of about Rs.1.68 lakhs has been contributed by the officers/staff of the Departments of this Ministry to the Prime Minister`s Relief Fund for the earthquake victims.
