(a) the number of wind energy projects across the country which have received financial assistance from the Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA) during the last three years and the current year, State/ UT-wise;
(b) whether the Government proposes to develop solar energy resources in view of the rising need of energy in the country; and
(c) if so, the details thereof and if not, the reasons therefor?

(a) The details of wind energy projects which have received financial assistance as loan from Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA) during last three years and current year are given in the Annexure.
(b) & (c) The government has already set a target to install 100 GW of solar energy capacity in the country by 2022 in view of the rising demand for the energy. So far 29.41 GW of solar energy capacity has been installed in the country.
