(a) & (b) The Government has issued a notification (No. G.S.R. 59(E)) on 21.1.2004 prohibiting possession, sale and use of nitro-glycerine based explosives (gelatin) throughout the country with effect from 1.4.2004, under section 6.1(a) of the Explosives Act, 1884. The concerned licence holders and District authorities have been informed about the notification.
