Question : FEASIBILITY REPORT PREPARED BY SAIL

(a) whether the feasibility report regarding financial restructuring prepared by Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) in 1998 has not been implemented so far in regard to some of its plants;

(b) if so, the details thereof and the reasons therefor;

(c) whether some equipments purchased for its various plants have not been installed or utilised; and

(d) if so, the reasons therefor?

(a) The financial restructuring of Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) has already been implemented.

(b) Does not arise in view of (a) above.

(c)&(d): No purchase of equipments was envisaged under financial restructuring of SAIL. However, there are no unutilised facilities in the various plants of SAIL.
