Question : Pending Projects

(a) the details of the projects of States/UTs lying pending with the Government /NITI Aayog, State/UT-wise including Karnataka;

(b) the reasons for not according approval to these projects, State/UT-wise;

(c) the number of schemes/projects sanctioned during the last three years, State/UT-wise including Karnataka;

(d) whether the Government has received request from the States to accord approval to pending projects, if so, the details thereof, State/UT-wise; and

(e) the response of the Government thereto?

(a): No projects /schemes of States/UTs including Karnataka are lying pending with the NITI Aayog.

(b): Does not arise.

(c): Erstwhile Planning Commission/NITI Aayog sanctioned grant in the form of One Time Additional Central Assistance (OTACA) / Special Plan Assistance (SPA) / Central Assistance to Special Plan under Backward Regions Grant Fund (BRGF-State component) / Special Assistance for the implementation of a large number of schemes/ projects in various States/UTs. The state-wise details of grants sanctioned during 2012-13, 2013-14 & 2014-15 including the state of Karnataka are given at Anneuxres I, II & III respectively.

(d)&(e): Does not arise.
