Answer given by the minister

MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT (SHRIMATI JAS KAUR MEENA)

(a),(b),(c),(d)&(e) The Task Force on Women and Children was of the view that the terms of reference assigned to it involved constant consideration and monitoring. The Task Force suggested constitution of an inter-ministerial committee with the Department of Women and Child Development. The programmes for women and children administered by various Ministries and Departments are periodically reviewed by Secretary, Department of Women and Child Development in an inter-departmental meeting. This mechanism would be used effectively to follow up the recommendations of the Task Force as well as all matters relating to women and child development.
