(a)&(b) : Sir, the scheme has been approved for the period of next 4 years starting from 2021-22 with total budgetary provision of Rs. 945 Crore. It will be implemented with effect from 1st April 2021.
(c)&(d) : All initiatives under the Startup India are inclusive and are implemented across States, cities, towns and rural areas. The result is that now 30 States and Union Territories have specific policies to support startups. All States and UTs in India have at least one startup. The latest addition to this list is Lakshadweep where the first startup was recognized in February, 2020. More than 42,000 startups are now recognized from more than 590 districts across the country. About 55% of startups are from Tier-1 cities and 45% are from other cities and towns.
