Question : VISIT OF PAKISTAN S FOREIGN MINISTER TO INDIA



(a) whether Foreign Minister of Pakistan proposes to visit India in the near future for resumption of Indo-Pak dialogue and other Confidence Building Measures (CBMs);

(b) if so, the details thereof;

(c) whether the issues for the talks have been identified;

(d) if so, the details thereof; and

(e) the present status of the Indo-Pak negotiations on the Kashmir issue?

(a) to (d) During the visit of External Affairs Minister (EAM) to Islamabad in July 2010, Pakistan’s Foreign Minister accepted EAM’s invitation to visit New Delhi at a suitable date to be decided through diplomatic channels.

(e) India is committed to resolving all outstanding issues, including Jammu & Kashmir, with Pakistan through a bilateral dialogue.
