(a) whether there is any project proposal regarding construction of a lateral road from North Salamara to Guwahati connecting Abhayapuri, Lengtichinga, Kalgachia, Jania, Barpeta, if so, the current status thereof;
(b) whether cracks have been noted in newly built bridge over River Brahmaputra near Guwahati; and
(c) if so, the details thereof and the steps taken by the Government in this regard?

(a) No, Madam. However, the road from Barpeta to Guwahati ( Jalukbari) is a part of newly declared National Highway No. 427. Development of NHs is a continuous process depending upon availability of fund and inter-se priority.
(b) & (c) No crack is noticed in any load bearing structural member of the said bridge.
