Question : INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT IN HIMACHAL PRADESH



(a) whether the State Government of Himachal Pradesh has prepared a comprehensive plan for the development of infrastructure in the State;

(b) if so, the details thereof;

(c) the amount to be spent on each such projects; and

(d) the amount proposed to be provided by the Union Government for the implementation of these projects?

(a) : Sir, No exclusive comprehensive Plan for the Infrastructure Development in the State has been prepared. However, different Infrastructure Developmental activities are proposed to be implemented during the Tenth Five Year Plan (2002- 07) for which an outlay of Rs. 10,300.00 crore has been approved. This will be implemented through the Annual Plans approved by Planning Commission, Government of India, on year to year basis. The approved outlay includes all activities under plan.

(b), (c) & (d) : In view of (a) above, questions do not arise.
