(a) to (c) Aligarh Mulim University, Jamia Millia Islamia, Maulana Azad National Urdu
University and Jamia Hamdard admit students from Madrassas stream to various under graduate
/Post gradate courses. University Grants Commission has been asked to constitute a group of
experts in consultation with Association of Indian Universities to evolve a National Level
Mechanism of equivalence of degrees given by Madrassas for purposes of admissions in the higher
education.
